मुंबई पुलिस ने रिपब्लिक टीवी के एडिटर इन चीफ अर्नब गोस्वामी को लिया हिरासत में, आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने का आरोप

साल 2018 के एक मामले में मुंबई पुलिस ने रिपब्लिक टीवी के एडिटर इन चीफ अर्नब गोस्वामी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है. फिलहाल उन्हें क्राइम ब्रांच ऑफिस ले जाया जा रहा है. अर्नब को हिरासत में लेने के लिए मुंबई पुलिस की टीम सुबह ही उनके घर पहुंची थी. अर्नब ने पुलिस पर अपने साथ मारपीट का आरोप लगाया. रिपब्लिक टीवी ने अर्नब के घर के लाइव फुटेज भी दिखाए जिसमें पुलिस और अर्नब के बीच झड़प होती दिख रही है.अर्नब पर यह है आरोप साल 2018 में 53 वर्षीय एक इंटीरियर डिजाइनर अन्वय नाइक और उसकी मां ने आत्महत्या कर ली थी. इस मामले की जांच सीआईडी की टीम कर रही है. कथित तौर पर अन्वय नाइक द्वारा लिखे गए सुसाइड नोट में कहा गया था कि आरोपियों (अर्नब और दो अन्य) ने उनके 5.40 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान नहीं किया था, इसलिए उन्हें आत्महत्या का कदम उठाना पड़ा. रिपब्लिक टीवी ने आरोपों को खारिज कर दिया था.

लालू यादव को मिली जमानत, MP MLA की विशेष कोर्ट में आरजेडी सुप्रीमो की हुई ऑनलाइन पेशी

 

  

पटना : बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और आरजेडी सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद यादव की सोमवार को एमपीएमएलए की विशेष कोर्ट पटना में ऑनलाइन पेशी हुई. जमानत अर्जी पर सुनवाई करने के बाद एमपी एमएलए कोर्ट के विशेष न्यायाधीश ने लालू प्रसाद को नियमित जमानत दे दी है. सोमवार को लालू यादव की पेशी एक मानहानि के चल रहे एक मुकदमे में हुई है.

विशेष कोर्ट ने इस मामले में उनकी पेशी के लिए प्रोडक्शन वारंट जारी किया था. इस मामले में उनकी उपस्थित होने पर लालू प्रसाद की ओर से नियमित जमानत अर्जी दायर की गई. इस जमानत अर्जी पर सुनवाई करने के बाद एमपी एमएलए कोर्ट के विशेष न्यायाधीश ने लालू प्रसाद को नियमित जमानत दे दी.

परिवादी के वकील विनय शंकर दूबे के मुताबिक लालू प्रसाद के खिलाफ उदयकांत मिश्र ने यह मुकदमा वर्ष 2017 में दायर किया था, जिसमें वादी ने लालू प्रसाद पर मानहानि करने का आरोप लगाया था कि भागलपुर कि एक सभा में वादी के परिवार पर आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी और सृजन घोटाला में नाम बदनाम करने का आरोप लगाया है.

लालू के अधिवक्ता देवर्षि मंडल ने बताया कि दुमका कोषागार मामले में दाखिल जमानत पर जल्द सुनवाई के लिए अर्जेंट मेंशन कर दिया गया है. उन्होंने संभावना जताई है कि यह मामला ६ नवंबर को सुनवाई के लिए निर्धारित हो भी सकता है. हाई कोर्ट ने लालू की बीमारी व जेल में मिले लोगों की रिपोर्ट तलब करते हुए सुनवाई के लिए 6 नवंबर की तारीख निर्धारित की है. उसी दिन लालू की जमानत पर भी सुनवाई करने का आग्रह किया गया है.

चारा घोटाले के सजायाफ्ता लालू प्रसाद ने दुमका कोषागार से अवैध निकासी के मामले में  दायर जमानत याचिका पर जल्द सुनवाई करने का आग्रह हाईकोर्ट से किया है. इसके लिए हाईकोर्ट में आवेदन देकर कहा गया है कि छह नवंबर को लालू से संबंधित एक मामले की सुनवाई है. इसी दिन जमानत याचिका पर भी सुनवाई की जाए.

6 वर्षीय बच्चे में दिखा पोलियो के लक्षण, जांच सैंपल कोलकाता भेजा गया* पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिले के गोइलकेरा प्रखंड में छह वर्षीय बच्चे में पोलियो का एक मामला प्रकाश में आया है। हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि अभी नहीं हुई है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार गोइलकेरा प्रखंड दलकी निवासी शिवनाथ सिंह के छह वर्षीय बच्चे बिशु सिंह पोलियो संदिग्ध पाया गया है। डब्ल्यूएचओ के पदाधिकारियों ने बच्चे का सैंपल लेकर उसके जांच के लिए चाईबासा भेज दिया है। जहां से सैंपल जांच के लिए कोलकाता भेजा जायेगा। वहां से रिपोर्ट आने के बाद स्पस्ट होगा कि बच्चे में पोलियो है या नहीं। छह वर्षीय बिशु को चलने में कुछ समस्या आ रही थी। 18 अक्टूबर को उसे इलाज के लिए राउरकेला के निजी चिकित्सालय ले जाया गया। अस्पताल ने इसकी जानकारी डब्ल्यूएचओ राउरकेला शाखा दो दी। ब्ल्यूएचओ ने बच्चे को पोलियो संदिग्ध बताते हुए मामले की जानकारी चाईबासा डब्ल्यूएचओ को दी। ब्लॉक को- ऑडिनेटर ने 31 अक्तूबर को बच्चे का सैंपल जांच के लिए चाईबासा भेजा। पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिले के सिविल सर्जन ओपी गुप्ता ने बताया कि बच्चे को पोलियो संदिग्ध मानकर जांच करायी जा रही है, कोलकाता से रिपोर्ट आने की प्रतीक्षा है।

Geetu Mohandas’ atmospheric crime drama Moothon to be the closing film at IFFM 2020

 

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2020 that went virtual this year owing to the ongoing pandemic, officially closed its special eleventh  edition with the screening of Geetu Mohandas’ visceral and imaginative film Moothon that stars Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly in lead, along with Shashank Arora, Sobhita Dhulipala, Roshan Matthew amongst others. 

 

The film that is co-written by Anurag Kashyap along with Sreeja Sreedharan and Geetu herself has been lauded widely for the novelty of its idea and Rajeev Rai’s brilliant cinematography. Geetu’s last outing Liar’s Dice was celebrated and even became India’s entry to Oscar that year. 

 

Moothon, however, is the story of a young boy who swims across the ocean from Lakshadweep to Mumbai in search of his elder brother. The city’s grime entraps him and he ends up in Kamathipura. The plot examines a host of ideas starting with cross-dressing, gender, identity, and the prevalent notion of destiny. Balancing realism and symbolism effectively, Mohandas tells a potent tale of love, loss, identity, and a sense of belonging. 

 

Festival director, Mitu Bhowmick Lange said, “It’s a poignant film that speaks to you at a very human level. At its core is a tender same-sex love story, which touched our hearts. Yearning for your loved ones and feeling the pangs of separation has been a lingering mood this year. There’s no better time to watch Moothon. We are elated to have the movie be the finale film at the Festival because of its distinct voice and the narrative itself encapsulates the vibe of diversity which is so precious to us.” 

 

Like every year, the festival this year too, IFFM  offered over 60 films in 17 languages including shorts, feature films, and documentaries made locally and worldwide.

The Minor Girl Died After Fell down from a roof while Being Chased

13-year-old girl in northern India has died after she fell from a roof while being chased by monkeys, police said on Wednesday.

The teenager was reportedly collecting her drying clothes from the rooftop of her home in the city of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh state, when a troop a monkeys attacked her.

Police told the Prwas that the girl appears to have tried to flee when she slipped and fell from the rooftop. She was immediately taken to hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.

This isn’t the first incident when conflict between humans and monkeys has proved fatal in India. The problem of monkeys straying into houses, sometimes biting and attacking humans is centuries old, as human habitation has encroached upon their traditional forest habitats.

In another incident in 2018, an infant boy died after he was snatched from his mother and bitten by a monkey, also in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In that same year, two tourists were also attacked and injured in Agra.

And in a viral video from UP’s Vrindavan last year, three monkeys were seen attacking a man while he tried entering his house, forcing him to the ground.

In March this year, the Indian parliament set aside funds worth 50 million rupees (£500,000) to control the increasing conflict between monkeys and humans in the national capital. Delhi recorded 950 cases of monkeys biting humans in 2018 alone, with even MPs and bureaucrats struggling to cope with disturbances from the simians. 

According to the Indian Express, Delhi’s 5-year plan was to involve estimating the population of monkeys, understanding their behaviour and movement patterns by fitting them with radio-collars, identifying conflict hotspots, using scientific methods for sterilisation, and training forest and municipal staff in conflict management.

However the programme never got off the ground due to the imposition of a national coronavirus lockdown.

Schools are going to open from Nov 2,The first, third, 5th, 7th and 9th classes will be run on 1 day and 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th ,

Hyderabad Schools across the country have been closed since March due to the lockdown imposed to prevent corona virus infection, but schools have been opened in Punjab, UP and Sikkim since Monday, so now in Andhra Pradesh, schools are going to open from November 2, Although the government has issued some strict guidelines for schools, it is very important to strictly follow. Schools will be run under aud-even in the state, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave this information through video conference on Tuesday.

He said that schools will open in Andhra Pradesh from November 2 but schools will run only for half a day. The children will be discharged after ‘Mid Day Mill’. Children’s classes will run on a day gap. The first, third, 5th, 7th and ninth classes will be run on one day and second, fourth, sixth and eighth classes will be conducted on the second day. During this period, sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid will be provided in the schools and proper arrangements for cleanliness of the campus and clean drinking water will be made.

The number of infected patients is close to 76 lakhs.
