Blood Donation Camp organised in Memory of late Surjit Singh Chunagra in Collaboration of Saanjh Global Foundation & Raman Academy

Blood donation camp in memory of late Surjit Singh Chunagra Kabaddi coach in collaboration with Saanjh Global Foundation and Raman Academy Patran Done. A team from Life Line Blood Bank, Patiala collected blood donated by more than 60 voluntary blood donors to collect the blood presided over by Master Gurdhian Singh. Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and MLA of Halqa Dirba specially attended the camp and encouraged the blood donors and appreciated the entrepreneurial efforts of Saanjh Global Foundation and Raman Academy. 

While people are facing problems in all kinds of activities, anemia is a major problem in emergency cases in the hospital due to which many lives are lost due to lack of blood. 

At present the organization of blood donation camps by the NGOs is a very commendable initiative from which the society needs to be guided so that the problems of the people can be alleviated and at the same time the youth should come forward to donate blood. On this occasion the blood donors in the blood donation camp were honored with certificates. 

Speaking on the occasion Saanjh Global Foundation leader Gurpiar Singh Diugarh said that the organization was carrying out various social welfare activities in Patran area under the chairmanship of Ravinder Singh Canada and today's blood donation camp was organized by renowned Kabaddi coach Surjit Singh Chunagra. This camp has been organized in the memory of Mr. Raman and in view of the shortage of blood in the blood bank in which with the special support of Mr. Raman Sharma, MD of Raman Academy, today in this camp young boys and girls shed more blood. Harbans Singh Bange, Swaran Shutrana, Madan Lal, Tapinder Singh Sohi, Amaninder Singh Virdi, Mahinga Singh Brar, Surjit Singh Fauji, Davinder Singh Baras etc. were specially present on the occasion.
